Irvine Teen Arrested for Sexual assault

Authorities say police have arrested a Southern California high school student on suspicion of groping female joggers while riding a skateboard and pushing one woman to the ground during an assault. Officials in Orange County said Wednesday that Keenan Al-Sayed Ahmad was taken into custody Jan. 19 after a woman reported a skateboarder grabbed her butt while she jogged in Irvine. The 18-year-old student at Northwood High School was released on bond. Police say Ahmad could face charges including felony assault with intent to commit rape and sexual battery. It wasn't immediately known Thursday if he has an attorney. Police say in one alleged attack a jogger was shoved to the ground by a man on a skateboard. The woman said he covered her mouth with his hand and then groped her before fleeing. Police are still investigating other reports of the same type of groping and could have possibly been done by the same suspect.
